Cool after all
So, it turns out that it's not as horrible up here as I thought. After a few weeks of waking up to some of the most beautiful scenery I've ever seen, I'm kind of starting to enjoy it. We even took a day trip to San Francisco and got lost in a really scary part of town, but the rest of the day was cool despite the nasty weather. Christmas was fun. I got to make chocolate with my grandma and we had Ebelskivers for breakfast. Those are little Danish pancake balls, and they are delicious.
And then the rain came. It has literally been raining nonstop for the last week, which for us is not good because we have to drive down a canyon to get out of town. So, if the canyon floods we're basically stranded. Luckily the rain ceased just in time and we managed not to float away. The funny thing is while northern California is having the most rain it has ever seen, Texas is facing serious drought possibilities and 80 degree weather. Oh well, I always liked warm weather better anyway.
